 ADÉNIKE ILESANMI

Hi, My name is Nike,  and I am the founder of Solid Rock United Nation. I have been in the Performance and Arts industry my whole life. I feel very honoured to have my job.  I know that being in a position where I have the opportunity to practice my passion and calling is truly a privilege, I don’t take this for granted. I started my stage career when I was six years old as a Ballerina, and I became an Art Student at the age of thirteen.

I am inspired by Art that speaks truth - no matter how bitter it may be to digest.
When I am not at The Solid Rock Studio, writing and directing – I am most likely at home painting a moment, while listening to beautful Yoruba music. I also find that young people, with their passion and zest for life help to shake me out of my creative comfort zone -  which helps to inspires me in thinking inside, as well as outside and inbetween the box.

What puts a smile on my face is seeing someone shift to a higher dimension in the spirit of truth. What makes me sad is every form of abuse done to a human by another human.

Feel free to send me an email – and if you’re ever in Vancouver, Canada – feel free to also book an appointment with me and we can have tea, chat and nibbles at The Solid Rock Studio.
